About Me
Hello 👋, I am Kaushik Ilango, a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer originally from Bangalore, India, now residing in the United States. Currently, I am engaged in various data science projects, including my tennis analytics project. As an avid tennis player myself, I'm leveraging my passion for the sport to analyze tennis match data and extract valuable insights. By combining my expertise in data science with my firsthand experience on the tennis court I am trying to develop an optimized model. My other interests include aviation where I spend a lot of time on the simulator. Hopefully one day I am able to get a pilot license. Apart from these I spend most of my day writing code and dealing with code issues else I play video games with my friends. On this page you can find information about my work, projects, my experience and also few blog posts which I actually just started writing. Since I also play games, I have a Twitch account and plan on streaming some time soon. :)
You can contact me or even connect with me on these platforms:
Do check out my posts and articles on my Medium page. I jave just started writing and I hope I improve. Please let me know of any feedback, I would really appreciate it

Projects
Here are some of the projects I have worked on, you can find more on
Developed a machine learning architecture with ETL processes to create a scoring method for players. Using the scoring methods, predicted matches based on the live data.
Analysing tennis match data to extract insights to provide various analytics and player patterns to show how a player performs over the years or months of their careers.
Built a system that can translate between languages by training a neural network model on a bilingual dataset, while optimizing performance and reduce overfitting.
Ordered extremely cluttered JSON documents using varying threshold clustering technique inspired by the X-Path method.
Blogs
I have recently started publishing few blogs mostly about my projects or my experiences, do take a look (:
Experience
I have mostly worked on the backend side of things..
